Winter School on Scholarship Applications
 Thèsez-vous is organizing a Winter School on Scholarship Applications to be conducted online (Zoom) from January 13 to 15, 2023.
This winter edition is particularly intended for people who wish to better understand the excellence scholarship system in Quebec, to get a head start on federal and provincial programs with fall application dates, and to reflect on strategies to strengthen their application.
More specifically, the objectives of the 2023 Winter School are :
- To become familiar with the overall process of writing a grant application, including those offered by the major provincial and federal granting agencies (FRQ, SSHRC, NSERC, CIHR);
- Take a training course to obtain all the necessary keys to write a convincing application;
- Think and plan an application according to their program of study, their personal profile, their research project and their priorities;
- Learn the writing style specific to fellowship applications.
The registration fee is $150 and gives access to all workshops and pedagogical tools. Thanks to the Fonds de recherche du Québec, you can benefit from a registration grant! Hurry up, scholarships are limited.
- FRQ registration bursaries: 40 bursaries of 50$ each
- Thèsez-vous scholarships: 5 scholarships of 150$ each.
All students, regardless of their university or program, are eligible.
