On June 7, support Vahideh Akbari as she represents Laval University in the « 3 Minute Thesis (3MT) » Eastern Canada final!

On June 7, support Vahideh Akbari with enthusiasm! She will be representing Laval University at the 3 Minute Thesis (3MT) Eastern Canada Final, organized by the Canadian Association for Graduate Studies (CAGS). The event will take place in person at the Institut national de la recherche scientifique in Quebec City at 2:30 pm. We encourage everyone to support Vahideh in this prestigious competition!

When: June 7, 2024 from 2:30 p.m. to 5 p.m.

Where: Room 2422, Centre Eau Terre Environnement, INRS (Institut national de la recherche scientifique), 490, rue de la Couronne, Québec, QC, G1K 9A9.

 

The final of the 3 Minute Thesis competition (3MT) took place on March 26.

Vahideh Akbari is the winner of the English-language section, 3 Minute Thesis (3MT).

She is a doctoral student in wood engineering and bio-based materials under the supervision of Véronic Landry at the Faculty of Forestry, Geography and Geomatics.

Her presentation is entitled «Let’s dance on the denser floor»!
