CRMR’s participation in the Quebec Advanced Materials Forum – April 13 and 14, 2023

17 April 2023

The Renewable Materials Research Centre (CRMR) was present on April 13 and 14 at the Quebec Advanced Materials Forum (FQMA) to discuss collaborative research and innovation in advanced materials. This networking activity offers a privileged framework for exchanges and networking with all the actors of the innovation ecosystem of the sector, as well as a unique opportunity to learn about recent scientific advances and innovations.

Several students (Alex Mary, Solène Marie Anne Péllerin, Vahideh Akbari and Gym Clerc Lentsolo Yalli) from the center presented their projects during the poster session of the networking activity on Thursday, April 13.   Congratulations to all participants for representing the CRMR well in the first version of the FQMA and congratulations to Solène Marie Anne Péllerin, who won the 1st prize for poster presentation (PRIMA Quebec prize)!

The CRMR also presented a kiosk on April 13 and 14, representing our members and our research work and highlighting innovative products resulting from some of our projects. The center’s coordinator, Besma Bouslimi, hosted the kiosk in collaboration with two of our students: Solène Marie Anne Péllerin and Kalvin Durand, who well communicated and popularized some results of the CRMR’s projects to a scientific and industrial audience.

Professor Véronic Landry, Director of the CRMR, also presented the center and its research axes, its members, as well as the services and instrumentation of the center, during a conference on Friday, April 14, 2023.  During this event, which represents a unique opportunity for exchange and networking, the team also took the opportunity to forge new collaborations and to discover collaborative research and funding opportunities available to our center.
