Simon Chouinard’s conference «Témoignage sur un parcours professionnel en situation de handicap!
You are cordially invited to the next conference of the CRMR-CERMA EDI Committee. It will feature Simon Chouinard, Executive Director of Entrepreneuriat ULaval, in a presentation entitled «Témoignage sur un parcours professionnel en situation de handicap». The event will take place in room 2320-2330 of the Gene-H.-Kruger Pavilion on Thursday, June 15 at 2:00 p.m. The activity will be led by Maylis Carrère, EDI committee member and Ph.D. student in wood and bio-based materials engineering, under the supervision of  Véronic Landry.
This will be an opportunity to understand the experiences of people with disabilities, and to see how we can improve their access to graduate studies.
There will be an interactive question-and-answer period.

Biographie de Simon Chouinard
Passionné par l’entrepreneuriat, il a fondé une entreprise à l’âge de 23 ans et l’a dirigé pendant plus de 20 ans. Admis au Barreau du Québec en 2003, il a ensuite complété une maîtrise en fiscalité et œuvré comme avocat-fiscaliste pendant près de 15 ans. Il a réalisé des mandats à l’échelle nationale et internationale. En 2012, il a joint un cabinet d’avocats en pleine croissance afin de contribuer à la vision et à la croissance de l’entreprise. En 2019, il a décidé de mettre à profit toute son expérience et son expertise au service des entrepreneures et entrepreneurs en devenir de l’Université Laval. Il a obtenu une maîtrise en administration des affaires pour cadres en exercice de l’Université Laval en 2022.
