Registration for the CRMR Annual symposium | October 14–15, 2026!

The  Renewable Materials Research Centre (CRMR) is pleased to invite you to its annual symposium, which will take place on October 14 and 15, 2026, in person, at the Gene-H.-Kruger Pavilion (Rooms 2320-2330), Université Laval.

Under the theme «  Science in Motion: Building on Lessons Learned », this year’s edition will offer two days of discussions, reflection, and networking, bringing together the CRMR community, its collaborators, and experts from the scientific, industrial, and governmental sectors.

Program Highlights

  • An opening keynote presentation by Mr. Jérôme Dupras, Chief Scientist of Québec;
  • Inspiring talks showcasing recent advances in research and innovation;
  • The student poster competition, featuring:
    • lightning presentations;
    • two poster sessions;
    • an awards ceremony recognizing excellence in student research;
  • A panel discussion on the evolution of research performance criteria: « How Should Scientific Performance Be Redefined? Perspectives on Interdisciplinarity, Science Communication, Bibliometrics, and Research Impact ».

The CRMR Annual Symposium is the Centre’s flagship scientific event. It provides a unique opportunity to discover ongoing projects, engage with members of the community, and collectively reflect on the challenges and future directions of renewable materials research.

MANDATORY REGISTRATION

⚠️Registration is mandatory for all CRMR members, including faculty members, research staff, technical and administrative staff, postdoctoral fellows, and students.

Individuals registered for the poster competition or lightning presentations must also complete the registration form to confirm their participation in the meals provided during the event.
