Official launch of the Journal of Green Construction Technology, led by Denis Rodrigue and Jun Huang: a new scientific platform dedicated to green materials for sustainable construction

4 July 2025

After more than 12 years of fruitful collaboration between the Department of Civil Engineering and the Department of Chemical Engineering — led by Professor Jun Huang from Wenzhou University (China) and Denis Rodrigue, associate research member of the Renewable Materials Research Centre (CRMR) at Université Laval (Canada) — the Journal of Green Construction Technology is officially launched.

This international scientific journal aims to promote and disseminate innovative research on green materials applied to the building and construction sector. It covers all aspects related to these materials, from their production, characterization, and modeling to their practical integration into environmentally friendly construction projects.

The Journal of Green Construction Technology aspires to be a hub for exchange among researchers, engineers, and industry professionals committed to the ecological transition of the construction sector. It offers a rigorous and accessible platform for the publication of scientific articles, critical reviews, case studies, and technological innovations.

We invite researchers from around the world to submit their work to the journal. In addition, positions are open to join the editorial board, offering an opportunity to actively contribute to the growth of this emerging field.
