The 2026 edition of the faculty-level «three-minute thesis » competition took place on March 16 in the Gilbert-Tardif Hall of the Gene-H.-Kruger Pavilion.
We warmly congratulate the seven participants in the French-language segment and the seven participants in the English-language segment, who took on this demanding challenge requiring courage, rigour, and preparation.

We extend our sincere thanks to the Faculty of Forestry, Geography, and Geomatics, the Forestry Science Week (SSF), the Renewable Materials Research Centre (CRMR), the Forest Research Centre (CEF), and the Centre for Research in Geospatial Data and Intelligence (CRDIG), whose commitment greatly contributed to the success of this event. We also wish to acknowledge the outstanding work of the MT180s organizing committee: Sauphie Senneville, Sonia Rivest, Besma Bouslimi, Manuella Strukelj, and Vincent Maltais.
We express our deep gratitude to all participants for taking on this challenge with courage and dedication.
