Launch of the Canada Research Chair on Sustainable Buildings-Holder Pierre Blanchet
On Monday, April 15, 2024, the Faculty of Forestry, Geography and Geomatics officially announced the launch of two new Canada Research Chairs, awarded to distinguished members of its faculty. The event was attended by numerous members of staff, management and faculty partners.
Congratulations to Pierre Blanchet on his new Canada Research Chair in Sustainable Buildings. We wish him every success in this important mission. The Chair’s research program aims to promote sustainable buildings as an essential tool in the fight against climate change, contributing to the well-being of Canadian residents and the national economy. Research activities will focus on three main themes, exploring the interactions between buildings and their environment, occupants and industry.
