We are pleased to invite you to a presentation on Data Management Plans (DMP), hosted by Émilie Fortin, a librarian at Laval University for 13 years and specialized in research data management (RDM) and digital preservation for the past 3 years. Highly involved in RDM groups in Quebec and Canada, Émilie will share her expertise on the effective management of research data.
Regardless of your research topic, you have a multitude of data to manage. A Data Management Plan (DMP) is an essential document that allows you to think about how your research data will be collected, stored, shared, and eventually disposed of. This type of document is sometimes required as part of grant applications.
During this presentation, Émilie will cover the following topics:
• Requirements for a DMP
• The contents of a DMP
• Key tools for writing a DMP
Organized by the Chair in Indigenous Forestry Education Leadership and the Renewable Materials Research Center, this presentation will take place on Wednesday, February 5, 2025, at 2:00 PM in room GHK 2320-2330.
The event is free, but registration is required!
