The Laval University Library invites you to a training session on advanced literature research that will allow you to understand how to effectively structure a research strategy, use the full potential of specialized databases, and draw on the methodology of knowledge syntheses to increase the quality of literature reviews.
Activity organized by the Renewable Materials Research Centre, in collaboration with the Laval University Library.
Conference speaker: Joë Bouchard, consulting librarian at Laval University.

- Advanced literature search in Sofia, using the Subject Heading Directory
- Selection of databases for searching scientific articles
- Development of a search strategy: free and controlled vocabulary
- Structured search strategy according to the recommended methodology for knowledge syntheses
- Overview of different types of knowledge syntheses
- Tools to ensure the quality of a literature review
