FFGG symposium: the CRMR at the heart of research and exchanges!
The FFGG symposium is back after a 5-year absence!
Under the theme « United through research: strengthening our ties », this landmark event took place over two days rich in discoveries and exchanges. A rich and original program was offered, including:
- Captivating and inspiring presentations highlighting the innovative work of our students and postdoctoral fellows
- A poster session unveiling fresh perspectives on a variety of exciting themes
- Interactive booths featuring innovative research equipment and captivating demonstrations. Participants were able to discover fascinating technologies such as aerial drones, the CRMR (Consortium de recherche sur les panneaux composites à base de bois) pressing laboratory, soil respiration measurement devices (Team Carbone), and tools measuring tree ecophysiological parameters such as stomatal conductance and soil gas exchange. Miniature robots, scanners and intelligent cameras were also used.
Nancy Gélinas, dean of the FFGG, opened the event by emphasizing the importance of bringing together all members of the academic community to share ideas, exchange and discuss innovative and inspiring research. Discover the program here!
The CRMR is proud to contribute actively to this major symposium, thanks to the exceptional participation of numerous students and postdoctoral fellows. Their involvement in the conferences illustrates the quality and impact of their research. On this occasion, various booths showcased exciting and innovative initiatives:
- Team Carbone: Exploring the links between forestry and the fight against climate change.
- Métafor: Presenting the work of this meta-team dedicated to adapting forests to environmental challenges.
- Consortium de recherche sur les panneaux composites à base de bois (Corepan-Bois): Immersion in the world of wood composite technologies and innovations.
