Exploring Emerging Collaborations with INOVEM!
Pierre Blanchet, Bertrand Laratte, and Nsimba Kinuani had the great privilege of being warmly welcomed at the INOVEM Innovation Center (wood and related materials), where they had the opportunity to meet Bernard Lefrançois, Nicolas Pearson, Houssein Awada, and Marc-André Bérubé. This visit is part of a context of fruitful collaboration, strengthened by constructive and inspiring exchanges.
The program included an in-depth tour of the center’s laboratories, offering a glimpse into cutting-edge equipment and innovative technologies shaping the future of the wood and related materials sector. These discoveries were followed by exciting discussions about potential collaborations in emerging and developing fields, paving the way for future joint initiatives. These exchanges highlighted promising synergies and strengthened the enthusiasm of all parties for the future of these projects.
Additionally, Professor Bertrand took part in his first virtual training in finishing, emphasizing his ongoing commitment to enhancing his professional skills and deepening his expertise in this rapidly evolving field. This initiative reflects his dedication to continuously updating his knowledge and adopting new technologies in his field.
