Congratulations to our student members selected for the prestigious FFGG Scholarship List for 2023-2024!

The Faculty of Forestry, Geography and Geomatics (FFGG) Scholarships and Awards Ceremony was held on Tuesday, March 26, 2024. Special thanks to Alexis Achim for his outstanding commitment and professionalism in hosting the evening. During the evening, Dean Nancy Gélinas highlighted the merit of 100 students from the Faculty, who received a total of more than $525,000 in scholarships.

With a history that goes back more than a century and programs that are unique in Quebec, the Faculty offers an environment conducive to the development of a dynamic philanthropic culture, supported by the generosity and commitment of its partners. The Dean expressed her deep gratitude to all the Faculty’s partners, underlining the crucial importance of their commitment to the awarding of these scholarships. The generous donations and funds generated by the donors have played a vital role in supporting the excellence and commitment of students at all levels of study, thereby fostering their perseverance. She also welcomed the arrival of new donors, highlighting their contribution to the creation of scholarships in fields such as wood and forest sciences, geomatics and geography.

We warmly congratulate our student members who have been selected to join the FFGG’s prestigious list of scholarship holders for 2023-2024. Their selection testifies to the excellence of their academic career and the exceptional quality of their project. It reflects not only their dedication and hard work, but also their commitment to advancing knowledge in their field of study.
