Each year, the Faculty of Forestry, Geography and Geomatics (FFGG) presents the Teaching and Coaching Awards. These prizes are awarded on the basis of student recommendations, and selection is made by a committee including student representatives. The winners of the FFGG Teaching and Coaching Awards are thus determined. To promote fairness and diversity in the recognition of merit, and to facilitate the evaluation and comparison of nominations, the three awards rotate among the three FFGG departments. Each faculty department has the opportunity to nominate a winner for one of the awards each year. This process ensures balanced recognition of pedagogical and supervisory excellence within the faculty, while promoting equitable disciplinary representation.
Congratulations to Véronic Landry, full professor in the Department of Wood and Forest Sciences at the Faculty of Forestry, Geography and Geomatics (FFGG), and director and regular researcher at the Centre for Research on Renewable Materials, who received the FFGG’s « Supervision Award »!
