A warm welcome to kick off winter 2025 at CRMR!
January 23, 2025 On January 21, 2025, the Renewable Materials Research Centre (CRMR) kicked off the winter session in style with its iconic welcome coffee. This friendly event provided the perfect opportunity to officially welcome the 26 new members who are joining and enriching our community this year.
Among these newcomers, we are proud to welcome 16 graduate and doctoral students, 2 postdoctoral researchers, 5 research assistants and trainees, as well as 3 research staff members. Their diverse backgrounds and expertise are an invaluable asset to the CRMR, bringing innovative ideas and inspiring perspectives. Their arrival energizes our collective drive and helps create a stimulating environment that fosters innovation, interdisciplinary collaboration, and research excellence.
In addition to the official introductions, this welcome coffee allowed participants to discover the rich and varied program for the upcoming session. The agenda includes specialized training, expert lectures, scholarship competitions to support our young researchers, and social activities aimed at strengthening the bonds within our community. These initiatives promise to make this session a memorable period focused on sharing, learning, and collaboration.
