Evelyne Thiffault: An Invaluable Contribution to the Montmorency Forest!
These appointments follow the end of Professor Evelyne Thiffault’s second term as Scientific Director of the Montmorency Forest. Under her leadership, the Forest benefited from rigorous scientific management, ensuring better coordination of research projects and optimization of data processing. Her inclusive approach and strategic vision strengthened the ties between researchers, students, and external partners, while establishing a more collegial governance model with the introduction of the living laboratory concept.
Evelyne will remain a key figure in the research at the Montmorency Forest, a territory she continues to nurture with her projects in favor of sustainable and innovative forestry. Although her term as Scientific Director has ended, her commitment to forestry research and her impact on the scientific community will remain significant.
The FFGG wishes to express its deep gratitude to Evelyne for her exceptional dedication, scientific rigor, and contribution to the advancement of knowledge in forestry.
