4th CRCBois symposium
Under the theme « Bioproducts for a circular economy and a sustainable future! », the 4th symposium of the Canada Research Chair in Wood Valorization, Characterization and Processing (CRCBois) will be held tomorrow, June 13, 2024. Numerous centre members will participate and present their work: Alain Cloutier, Véronic Landry, Ingrid Calvez, and Rosilei Garcia!

This event aims to present the results of research projects carried out by the Canada Research Chair in Wood Recovery, Characterization and Processing (CRCBois). The solutions developed to recover wood and its residues to create new bioproducts, with prospects for the circular economy, sustainable development, and the fight against climate change. The symposium will feature internationally renowned researchers, enabling participants to keep abreast of the latest developments in wood characterization and recovery, and bioproduct development.
The day of conferences covers four themes:
- Biocomposites for dielectric applications
- Wood modification and characterization for high-value-added applications
- Optimizing the manufacture of biocomposites
- Bioproducts for a circular economy
