On May 19, 2026, the Renewable Materials  Research Center (CRMR) held its semi-annual welcome coffee, an event that is now well established in the life of the center. This gathering is a valuable opportunity to bring the community together, strengthen connections among its members, and welcome new individuals joining the team, in a spirit of collaboration and conviviality.
This edition brought together 87 participants, highlighting the vitality and engagement of the CRMR community. The event was also marked by the arrival of 18 new members, further enriching the teams and contributing to the diversity of expertise within the center. Among them were 2 research professionals, 5 graduate students, 1 postdoctoral fellow, and 10 research interns. Their integration represents a significant contribution, both scientifically and humanly, helping to maintain a dynamic, innovative, and open research environment.

During the meeting, participants had the opportunity to learn about the main activities planned for the upcoming term. The program includes specialized training sessions aimed at supporting skills development, lectures given by invited experts, scholarship competitions designed to encourage excellence, as well as various social activities fostering informal exchanges. These initiatives are part of a clear effort to stimulate interdisciplinary collaboration, strengthen the sense of belonging, and support the professional development of all CRMR members.
The event continued in a warm and relaxed atmosphere with a barbecue organized by the PHQ committee. This friendly moment allowed conversations started earlier in the day to continue, encouraged meetings between different teams, and helped build connections between new and existing members. These informal exchanges contribute greatly to the cohesion and positive dynamics that characterize the center.
The CRMR sincerely thanks all those who attended for their active participation and engagement, which are essential pillars of its outreach and success. Special recognition is given to the PHQ committee for its outstanding involvement, professionalism, and the quality of its organization, all of which greatly contributed to the success of this event.
