Vicky Martin demonstrated that scientific rigour and communicative charisma can combine perfectly to engage and convince an audience. Her performance will remain a highlight of this edition of the competition.

Congratulations to Vicky and best wishes for the future!

Kudos also to the other award winners!

The evening also celebrated the excellence of the other participants:

  • Sara Etminanrezaeieh (supervisor: Véronic Landry), winner of the Best Presentation in English for « The Hidden Power of Lignin », a $180 scholarship awarded by the CRMR. Her presentation brilliantly explained the importance of lignin in biomaterials and the valorization of forest resources.

A successful evening made possible thanks to everyone’s commitment!

This event would not have been possible without the involvement of many contributors: the participants, the jury (Daniel Beaudoin, Éric Guilbert, and Marie-Hélène Vandersmissen), the host (Alexandre Morin-Bernard), collaborators, and the enthusiastic audience, who helped create a warm and inspiring atmosphere.

A special thanks to Najat Bhiry and Willian Ney Cassol for their original participation in the professors’ duel, which added a moment of camaraderie and scientific fun to the evening. Finally, special recognition goes to the students of the CRMR, whose excellence, availability, and dedication greatly contributed to the success of this event.
