We are very proud to highlight the excellence of Laura Chrétien, a PhD student at Université Laval, who stood out during the 2025 national final of the three-minute thesis competition, held on May 7 at the Auditorium of the Grande Bibliothèque in Montreal.
This event, organized by Acfas, brought together 22 finalists from across the country. They rose to the challenge of presenting their doctoral research in just three minutes—clearly, concisely, and accessibly—before a jury and an enthusiastic audience.
Thanks to her remarkable performance, Laura won the third jury prize, awarded by the Agence universitaire de la Francophonie (AUF), which comes with a $1,250 scholarship. She captivated the audience by making her research lively, understandable, and inspiring.
👏 Congratulations, Laura, on this well-deserved recognition and for your talent in showcasing research in French!
