Adrien Gaudelas and Manon Beaufils-Marquet Shine at the Conference « National Challenges, Natural Solutions, and Building a Brighter Future »!

16 October 2024

On September 18th, Adrien Gaudelas and Manon Beaufils-Marquet, PhD candidates in wood engineering and bio-based materials at Université Laval and members of CIRCERB, proudly represented our institution at the National Challenges, Natural Solutions, and Building a Brighter Future conference in Ottawa.

These two young researchers distinguished themselves through their excellence and commitment to innovation in forestry. Adrien was the recipient of the Chisholm Scholarship for Forestry Innovation in 2023, while Manon received this honor in 2024. This scholarship, awarded by the Forest Products Association of Canada, recognizes emerging researchers each year for their exceptional contributions to the forestry sector. The Association, which also organizes this conference, thus acknowledges innovative initiatives and the importance of young researchers in the transition to more sustainable forestry.

Congratulations to Adrien and Manon for these well-deserved distinctions!
